Oxford Balint Weekend, Corpus Christi College: 25th to 27th September 2026

Multiprofessional Balint

Come to Oxford to enjoy a weekend of Balint group work and find out how Balint sustains professionals within and beyond the healthcare domain

This year for the first time we are offering free places for the first 5 clinical medical students who apply and heavily discounted fees for UK medical graduates within 5 years of qualification - These places are strictly limited - apply by email to the administrator@balintsociety.org.uk

Groups are made up of GPs and allied professionals, led by experienced leaders, and explore the psychological and emotional aspects of patient work.

The following groups are offered:

  • Ordinary Balint Group: all levels of experience welcome including none.
  • Group Leaders Group: for accredited leaders and leaders in training. These groups allow members to receive feedback when they lead and also present cases they bring.
  • Supervision Group: for accredited leaders. The supervision groups are specifically intended

for accredited leaders to present their own Balint group in place of a clinical case. Discussion is led by two experienced Balint Leaders guided by the Balint structure.

Participation in the Group Leaders Group counts towards Leadership Accreditation.
